Remote Backup Zone Privacy Policy

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE

When you register for Remotebackupzone we ask for information such as your name, email address, billing address, credit card information. Members who sign up for the trial account are not required to enter a credit card.

DATA STORAGE

Remotebackupzone uses its own hardware for storage of your data, only you have access to your data because all data is encrypted by a key produced on your machine. We use third parties to provide networking.

DISCLOSURE

Remotebackupzone may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

SECURITY

Remotebackupzone is committed to the security of your data and has put in place industry standard physical and electronic enforcement mechanisms. Remotebackupzone uses boxbackup which uses TLS (SSL revised) to encrypt connections, and more importantly, to authenticate servers and clients with both server and client side certificates encryption. Stored files are encrypted using AES for file data and Blowfish for metadata. Your data is stored in a secure location.

All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption—the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card information is transmitted, stored, and processed securely on a PCI-Compliant network.

CHANGES

Remotebackupzone may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address specified in your remotebackupzone account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

This is a legal agreement between you as an individual or a legal entity and Wand IT Ltd. ("Remotebackupzone"), and governs the terms and conditions of your use of Remotebackupzone Products (as defined below) and any updates that may be provided. This Agreement, along with any written documentation expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by Remotebackupzone (collectively, the "Agreement"), constitutes the entire agreement between Remotebackupzone and you regarding Remotebackupzone Products.
